Comenius LUSTES picnic 2014-06-18
We had a picnic and we summarized our project near Toczylowo Lake. We filled questionnaries about endangered species and got second year certificates of LUSTES. We rode our bikes. It was excellent!

Seventh meeting in Italy Correggio
LAST MEETING IN ITALY IN CORREGGIO
On 12-16 May 2014, in
Italy, in the town of Correggio of the last meeting of the Comenius project
"Let Us Save The Endangered Species" 2012-2014, which was attended by
partners from Italy, Turkey, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Hungary and Cyprus. ZSM
No. 1 in Grajewo represented students PG1: Weronika Czerwińska class 3b, Peter
Dawidowski class 3b, Jakub Cebeliński class 2a, Michal Sokolowski class 2a and
Daniel Zolnik class 2a and teachers Małgorzata Balicka, Danuta Wojslaw,
Katarzyna Tydelska and Jakub Czyz. Participants
had the opportunity to visit the center of Milan, town Correggio, which is
called the small capital of the Renaissance, the National Park " Tosco -
Emiliano Appennino ", and climb to the top " Pietra". Students
participated in workshops in the park " Cerwood ". In
addition, the host school presented his farm, and shown around us the cheese
factory. In
addition, students from all schools presented in English, the world's most
famous people of his country, and the Italian school students also presented
endangered species in their country. All
students took part in workshops, competitions were also carried out a jigsaw
puzzle. What's
more, students and teachers visited Verona, among other things, home of Romeo
and Juliet, natural history museum and were at the largest lake in Italy - Lake
Garda.
The purpose of the visit was to continue mutual relations and cooperation between the partners, getting to know the school system, educational institutions, Italian culture, a summary of the project, the designation of the final tasks, as well as knowledge of endangered species and protected in Italy.

Cleaning of the Lake Toczyłowo - Week Purity Water
Action lasted several hours cleaning areas of Lake
Toczyłowo, and its finale in the form of one hundred and eighty-liter bags full
of rubbish surprised the organizers. Polish Angling Association
no 83 in Grajewo manager,
organizes action cleaning the waters every spring. Last initiative was part of a
nationwide week of pure water.
The project brings as always members of the
club and the students of Zespół
Szkół Miejskich No. 1 in Grajewo
and Community Centre in Prostki.
Carp fishing show and fishing permits
How to catch a carp, what equipment to choose, how to prepare the fishery on these and other difficult questions, participants receive a response cleaning. After cleaning the area of the lake with garbage carp fishing was a show performed by the most experienced members of the club. The knowledge that has been passed came from years of experience and hundreds of hours spent with a fishing rod in his hand. After getting the knowledge and hearing the rules of angling participants of the action proceeded to test for a fishing license. Passing the exam joint fire ended this year's action.

From 24.02.2014 to 28.02.2014 in
Romania, Magura held the sixth meeting of Comenius
project "Let Us Save The
Endangered Species" 2012-2014,
which was attended by partners from schools in Romania, Turkey, Portugal, Cyprus , Poland, Hungary and
Italy. Our country was represented by students and teachers from
Zespół Szkół Miejskich No. 1 in Grajewo: Klaudia Koniecko
class Ia PG1,

Kaminska Ewelina and Jakub Czyz.
The first day of convention participants spent in school, which
hosted the reunion. The students presented the Romanian artistic program prepared for the occasion, including
two theatrical performances in English
and dances. Then, a workshop in which students
participated from all schools and presented presentations
about interesting places to visit in
each country. They presented animal and plant species at risk in Romania, as well as discussed further design tasks.
The next day, the participants visited the Bison Reserve in a town of Brasov, Bear Sanctuary around
Zarnesti and medieval
Bran Castle.
On Wednesday we visited the Museum of Hunting in
Posada and Peles Castle. In both places we were accompanied by guides who told
all in English.
Then we had a meeting with
the mayor of the village of Magura,
visited the camp sculpture
in Magura, mud
volcanoes, and houses built in an environmentally friendly way and also visited the city
of Buzau.
At the end of the reunion all
participants got certificates of attendance.

Meeting in Hungary
From 07.10.2013 - 11.10.2013, the fifth meeting design
within the framework of the Comenius project " Let Us Save The Endangered
Species " in Debrecen in Hungary. The
meeting was attended by partners from Turkey, Poland, Portugal, Cyprus, Romania,
Italy and Hungary.
The purpose of the visit was to continue mutual relations and cooperation between the partners, getting to know the school system, educational institutions, Hungarian culture, work planning for the future, as well as knowledge of endangered and protected species in Hungary.
During the visit, the participants visited the Park of Hortobágy and took part in workshops at the park, visited the zoo in Nyíregyháza, Deri Museum in Debrecen, seen live endangered species both in Hungary and in Europe, learned traditional Hungarian folk dances and music. In addition, participants took part in a game of street, during which they visited Debrecen, and also be able to bathe in the city swimming pool.

European Languages Day 26th Sept. 2013
On September 26, 2013 at ZSM No. 1 in Grajewo
we celebrated the European Day of
Languages. Feast of Languages
was established at the initiative of
the Council of Europe. On this occasion,
the students of the
club Comenius (SP1 and PG1) under the
supervision of teachers prepared
the scenes drama in English: "Last Animals", "Trip to the Safe Island" and "Endangered
Species". The action took place in
the framework of the Comenius project
"Let Us Save The Endangered Species".
In addition, students from PG1 presented a few songs in English.
It also includes interesting facts about foreign languages.
The aim of this initiative is to educate the general public the importance of multilingualism in Europe, fostering cultural and linguistic diversity and the promotion of language learning outside formal education cycle.
